How much does a private AI agent cost?

Short answer: A private AI agent costs from nothing in cash plus your time, to about a dollar or two an hour for GPU rental, to $10,000 setup plus $4,800 a month done for you.

Four price tiers

A shared private-chat app: free to about $200 a month. A small model on a computer you own: no ongoing fee, and a weaker model. A model on a rented GPU that you set up: the GPU rents for roughly a dollar or two an hour for a large card (check live prices), so a few hundred dollars a month at daytime use, plus your time. Done for you: a larger fee, because someone else carries the work and the risk.

What we charge

A one-time setup of $10,000 and dues of $48,000 a year paid up front, or $4,800 a month, which is a 20 percent premium for paying monthly. Compute is billed by the provider to your own account at cost. Hands-on help is extra by the hour. Setup is earned when we deliver a working stack and login that you sign off on.

What the dues cover

The system, not people's time: maintenance, updates, monitoring, support requests and the work of keeping the stack current as models change. Training and on-call hours are priced separately so heavy users do not subsidize light ones.

How to judge it

Compare against your own hours at what they are worth, and against the cost of getting private access to your accounts wrong. If neither is large, build it yourself or use a shared app. The price is high on purpose: it is for people who want it done, discreet and supported.
